The Bacchus Grand Complications watch, dedicated to the deity, combines engraving and gemstone settings. The leaves were created using the bas-relief technique, which consists of creating cells or cavities by carefully cutting the metal with a burin. Each leaf is special and unique. The master crafted the outline and veins of the leaves, covering the surface with bejeweled green enamel.
The surface of the Bacchus Grand Complications watch case was treated point by point to emphasize the contrast with the smooth elements of the relief. The bunches of grapes, in miniature and inlaid with rubies, proved to be a challenging task, as it was necessary to create the clusters in specifically assigned locations.
